At RNJ Motorsport we can fabricate and install roll cages to suit your requirements, built to the appropriate FIA and RAC  MSA specification if required in either 4130 cr-moly, t45 or clubman 500 rather than 4130 cr-moly or cold drawn mild steel.

We can build it to fit any application from simple cabin cells to multi point cages to tie in suspension components or drive train to full ‘Funny Car’ hoops.

Driver safety is paramount in the construction of roll cages but a properly designed system can also improve the performance of your vehicle. By reinforcing crucial load areas and tying suspension components together we can reduce scuttle flex and improve power transfer.

At RNJ we are experienced in building cages for most saloon based classes as well as bespoke work replicating the original cages of classic race cars to modern specifications, and safety cages for open top cars. These can include arm restraints and other features such as window nets and harness points.

We have designed and installed many specialised cages for Drag Racing and Hill Climb cars that can be seen in the Motorsport section of the site. For Historic classes we can produce a low profile installation which means that the cage intrudes as little as possible on the look and feel of your classic car’s interior, whilst offering the best possible performance and safety.

Finally, if you want a cage for your classic or retro car for looks or safety, we can do that for you as well. Bolt in, welded in, FIA Appendix K or full on RAC MSA spec, we can produce it.
